Tony Maja Bunker Spoons are ready to use right out of the package; they have been designed for maximum success.Ā The spoons are made of extra heavy gauge stainless steel which makes them work at a greater depth with less wire or lineĀ and with only one keel.Ā
The action of my spoons have been designed to swim subtler than other spoons and the 9/0 stainlessĀ bucktail hook gives them a more life-like swimming action which increases the hook up ratio with virtually no foul hook-ups.
For best results try to troll the spoons 5 feet from the bottom or 5 feet under schools of bait.Ā Speed is important, but the tip of your rod should give you a good idea of how your spoons are working --Ā there should be a steady pulsation on the tip of the rod. If not, you may have to increase or decrease your speed.
Over long periods of use, the screws securing the keel may loosen due to the vibration of the spoon.Ā Periodically checkĀ the screws to be sure they are tight. You may also use lock-tight for additional strength.
