Developed specifically for use with our Vibram® rubber soles, the HardBite™ Star Wading Boot Cleats (10 Count) offer the best stud solution for added stability in difficult wading conditions. Use separately or in combination with our HardBite Studs.

Here are some general guidelines for selecting what's best for your wading needs:

• Cleats offer a larger surface area for overall slip resistance and are suitable for Vibram or rubber outsoles. Simms offers Alumabite (softer, molds better) and Hardbite (carbide construction, more durable with textured overlays for penetration) cleats.
• Studs are recommended for slippery moss, algae, or slime as they penetrate the material to grip the substrate beneath. They are also the only option for felt outsoles. Simms provides studs specific to rubber/Vibram and felt outsoles.
